Cardna is a UK-based vehicle information service providing publicly available vehicle data sourced from the DVLA and DVSA for informational purposes. Operated as a sole trader. Contact: hello@cardna.co.uk
2. What information we collect
- Number plate queries — transmitted to DVLA and DVSA APIs to retrieve vehicle information. We do not permanently store the number plates you search.
- Usage data — standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit, collected automatically for performance and security monitoring.
- Analytics data — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymous usage data.
- Cookies — we use cookies to serve advertisements via Google AdSense and to collect analytics data via Google Analytics.

Vehicle data is retrieved from the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and DVSA MOT History API in real time. Cardna does not control or store this data. DVLA and DVSA terms apply to the data they hold.
7. Data retention
We do not retain number plate searches beyond the immediate transaction. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days then deleted.
